At the second UMZH Precision Digital Therapeutics Summer School in Zurich, Chorong Park helped hypertension challenge teams think beyond the initial idea. Her August 24, 2026, reflection followed an intensive week of coaching, feedback, and final pitches. [1]

Participants worked from clinical problems toward digital therapeutic concepts. Park described teams revising their proposals as they considered behavior change, intervention design, and how an idea could be evaluated. [1][2]

The discussion also reached questions that sit beyond the interface: implementation, regulation, reimbursement, and sustainable delivery. These were considerations for developing concepts, not evidence that the projects had already cleared those hurdles. [1]

Park praised the teams for taking feedback seriously and strengthening their final pitches. The experience brought design and delivery into the same conversation, rather than leaving practical constraints until after a prototype was built. [1][2]

She returned to Houston with lessons for ELARA's work on responsible AI and digital health. Her takeaway was to develop the case for how an intervention could work in practice alongside the idea for what it might do. [1]
